What to Expect at Your Child’s First Appointment
We work in pediatrics because we enjoy working with kids. We realize that the kids dentist might be really scary place for your little one. That is why we ensure your child’s first dental visit is an exciting one.
At your first appointment, we will sit down with your child and explain what we plan to do in language that is age appropriate. We will show them what we use and its purpose to help them gain confidence. We then demonstrate on your child’s finger or a stuffed animal and move forward when they are comfortable. We want your child to know that we are here to ensure their safety and comfort while also making the dentist something they look forward too.
It is important for parents to get their questions answered so you can assist in your child’s oral health. We encourage you to ask questions. The first visit is just as important for you as it is for your child.

Medical History Form
When a parent brings their child to the dental office for the first time, it's essential to obtain the child's complete medical history. Medical history includes past surgeries, medical conditions, allergies, and medications the child is taking. This information helps our dentist make informed decisions regarding the child's treatment plan and determine any potential risks or complications.
